Flip Spot is a parkour game where you press a button to make your character perform spectacular flips. Featuring a dynamic physics system, over 70 move combinations, and two distinct gameplay modes, Flip Spot creates a playground where every player can discover their own unique performance style.

Flip Spot – Every Jump Is a Test of Momentum

Flip Spot’s mechanics put full control in your hands. Hold the control button to initiate a flip; the longer you hold it, the more the character spins. Releasing the button stops the rotation, allowing the body to continue falling based on momentum.

This turns every jump into a small yet crucial decision. You can opt for a safe rotation to ensure a clean landing or extend the spin time to attempt bolder, more complex move sequences.

Soar To Impressive Heights

Not every jump platform in Flip Spot allows for the same moves. Greater height means more airtime and more opportunities to pull off intricate acrobatic sequences. From lower platforms, a single, well-controlled flip is often the best choice. From higher vantage points, you can attempt two or three consecutive rotations to create a truly spectacular performance.

Game Modes

Flip Spot offers two distinct ways to play:

  • Arcade Mode takes you through pre-designed levels. Each stage presents new scenarios, challenging you to select the right move before you jump.
  • Free Mode acts as an open practice area for experimentation. This space lets you get a feel for the rotation mechanics, test the limits of your jumps, and create your own unique move combinations.

Controlling The Flips

  • Space/W/Up Arrow: Jump and perform a flip
  • R: Restart the current level

Tips

  • Get a feel for the rotation speed
  • Prioritize starting from lower platforms
  • Don't hold the button for too long
  • Check the height before attempting a flip
  • Use Free Mode to experiment with new techniques

FAQs

Does Flip Spot automatically stabilize the character upon landing?

No. The character is directly affected by the momentum and rotation angle you generate.

Should you always attempt more rotations from higher platforms?

Higher platforms give you more airtime but also require better control.

Which skill should I practice first in Flip Spot?

Start by getting a feel for how the button-hold duration affects rotation speed.

What is the difference between Arcade Mode and Free Mode?

Arcade Mode focuses on completing pre-designed levels and challenges. Free Mode offers a more open environment for practice.
