Dashmetry The Northern Lights is a winter-themed rhythm-platform level with a series of fast-paced challenges. The level is Easy Demon, lasting 1 minute and 37 seconds – long enough to test stability but not overly drawn out. The gameplay is divided into several consecutive segments, each introducing a new mechanism or variation. The song "The Falling Mysts" serves as the main rhythmic framework, making every action more closely tied to timing than random reflexes.
Dashmetry The Northern Lights begins with a cube, where players familiarize themselves with the rhythm via pads and orbs, navigating walls and ice blocks with controlled consecutive jumps. Soon after, the game shifts to a gravity-reversing mini-cube, forcing players to adjust their jump height while moving across the ceiling and dodging dense ice spikes.
The mini-ship segment maintains a steady pace but narrows the space, requiring early height adjustments to avoid hitting ice edges. Next, UFOs appear with a consistent clicking rhythm, where even a small deviation in clicking frequency can disrupt the entire section.
In the ball section, players must read the arrow direction and slope to handle the constantly shifting gravity without losing momentum. Finally, the wave accelerates sharply, forcing players to zigzag precisely before returning to the cube to finish the level.
In addition to the main gameplay mode, the level supports Endless Mode, Shop, and Lucky Wheel, allowing players to continue challenging themselves after completing the standard route. Hidden coins within the route encourage careful observation of the environment and revisiting, rather than focusing on completing the level once.
